I have a wiring schematic, I know the wiring is jacked, not much time to work on cars, looking for advice to save me some time(in case this is a common problem), hence the thread looking for said...

Re: 91 Accord LX: Why are my parking lights on all the time?

Here is something else I've noticed: With the ignition all the way off, the stereo will stay on if the headlights are still on. Turn the headlights off, and the stereo goes off.

Re: 91 Accord F22A1 engine, no start after timing belt replacement

I admit, I didn't take the cap off to look at the rotor, I used multiple diagrams to confirm that that #1 cylinder was hooked up to #1 terminal on the cap(it has a "A" stamped next to it). Because of...

Re: 91 Accord F22A1 engine, no start after timing belt replacement

OK, so after researching online, and coming up with dead end after dead end, I decided to experiment.

I've had the wires at the distributor lined up 1-3-4-2, which is supposed to be correct as I...

91 Accord F22A1 engine, no start after timing belt replacement

Hello all!

I bought this car a month ago for $600, I knew it had rough running problems. During and after fixing the 3rd gear problem(by swapping the tranny from my parts car), I kept attacking...

Re: How-To: Replace Timing Belt, Timing Balancer Belt and Water Pump on a F22B1

OK, I got the project completed(91 Accord LX, F22A1)..........then I set about putting the plug wires back. I noticed that the original wiring didn't agree with the diagram in the Chiltion manual. So...

Re: How-To: Replace Timing Belt, Timing Balancer Belt and Water Pump on a F22B1

Well, the diagrams at Majestic Honda don't show a bolt there, so I'm going to leave it out this time, and assume the short-bus riders who did the belt last forgot to remove...

Re: How-To: Replace Timing Belt, Timing Balancer Belt and Water Pump on a F22B1

I'm doing the timing belt on my 91 Accord LX F22a1, the mystery rough running problem turned out to be a improperly installed Timing belt(done by a previous owner).

My question: My tensioner had...

91 Accord LX: Why are my parking lights on all the time?

OK, so I bought this car for nothing a month ago, I've fixed many major problems, and now I'm working on the minors.

Whenever the key is turned to 1 2 or running, the running lights come on, even...

Re: How-To: Replace Timing Belt, Timing Balancer Belt and Water Pump on a F22B1

I suspect that the 91 Accord I bought a few weeks back for a song has a incorrectly installed Timing belt. My timing light can't even see a timing mark on the flywheel(I did jump the ECU service...

Re: 91 Accord LX misses at all speeds?

Wow! I wish I had checked the timing earlier! Last night I got my brand new timing light out just for shits and giggles( I bought it for tuning up my 81 Datsun pickup), followed Chiltons instructions...

The plugs in the car were double platinum Autolites, the most expensive plugs I have ever owned(they came in the car), I have no brand loyalties, what ever brand I grab first always does what it...

Re: 91 Accord LX misses at all speeds?

Thermo B is probably bad, and not related from the problem at hand, but I don't want to leave out anything even remotely related.

EGR ports? Never had this one suggested by anyone before, but...

Re: 91 Accord LX misses at all speeds?

First off, I understood very little about my original running problem, calling misses at all speeds was not accurate. Let me lay out my problem again, I know I announced earlier that bleeding the...

How do I determine the width of the rims without removing the tires? It looks like 7" but I'd like to know for sure.

Re: Yet another what wheels are these thread..........

Whats not complete about the wheels, are parts missing? Just in case there is some misunderstanding, this is a set of 4 wheels with completely matching tires.

Some research elsewhere has shown...

Re: Yet another what wheels are these thread..........

My $300 figure is fairly low I think, thats $50 per rim, and $25 per tire. I've seen this tire sell for 25-50 apiece on E-bay. I do need to find out what vehicle these rims were meant for though.

Re: Want to swap door locks from my old 91 Accord to my "new" 91 Accord

There was a little C clip that connects to the lock cylinder, it looks brittle, but I got it off just fine. Also a heavier wire clip that came off fine too.

I should be able to get these swapped...

Re: Want to swap door locks from my old 91 Accord to my "new" 91 Accord

Yes, this is exactly what I'm worried about...............guess I'll just have to ready to do a drive if I need to on my weekend. I'm a surgeon when it comes to working on cars, maybe I'll luck out,...
