I've been doing alot of reading about final drives. Last year i was running a gsr engine with a 4.92 final in a b16 transmission. Very fun in town and total crap on highway.

So when you say that, is it more of a placebo effect? feeling the acceleration versus he acceleration actually having an effect.

sp up shifts having more acceleration in the context of speed...

so to understand properly, it is not universally about size it is specific to the tire and to the rim based on brand/manufacture.

that is what my thought was. hit up the junk yard and find a 6th gen headlight, open it up and gut it, find some materiel to mold n such for fiber glassing and mold for the intake section then mold...

Well looks like I'll be ripping apart the transmission I ordered a new stabilizer bar shifter and shift linkage just to keep everything tight I'll post up what the issue is once I get the tranny...
