Re: Every angle of the 09 Fit looks good EXCEPT THIS ONE (pollofrito21)

I'm guessing it will look better in person.
They said they softened the highway ride.
Probably put some more in the front to move the driver back a bit more toward the center so they needed to...

Re: Ready to dump your Fit for the new Honda ? (Nice Fit)

Not a chance.

Fit has the room I need. The hybrid doesn't.
I wonder if the hybrid is as much fun.

And Fit is "Honda simple"
I hear that hybrid batteries have a typical service life of 100k...

Re: Price for 08/auto sport (eL)

My Fit Sport Auto was something like 16.2 with no accessories, plus tax, license, etc. That was back at Feb 30th this year.

But then I saw one at another dealer that had $1000 "market adjustment"...

Headlight adjustment

I did a search and didn't find anything.
Manual just says "take it to dealer"

I carry a lot of weight in the back of my fit, and the headlights are always high.
And especially worse with the...

Re: Oil life monitor (HYREV2NR)

IDK, 6000 miles seems like a reasonable interval given the new oils and how most fits are driven. I use all synthetic and change as the indicator says, which is more often than the synthetics say...

Re: wat are your opinions on a automatic fit? (KamakuraKid)

Like I said, I'd buy the manual if I didn't live in stop and go city traffic,

Plus, the fit is a commuter car for me. I've got the Lotus (which weighs about half of of what the Fit does and has a...

Re: wat are your opinions on a automatic fit? (Twinklez)

I use mine for work here in the Los Angeles traffic, so I have to have an auto.
I used it a LOT. Bought it in March and it has over 30,000 miles on it now!

Besides, I've got a Lotus, E-Type, and...

Re: Rubber

What's wrong with a lot of rubber?

Roof Racks for a Fit

I need to get some roof rack bars to get kayaks to the beach, and carry bikes occasionally.

I see that Thule has a listing, but Yakima doesn't.

But Rack Outfitters shows a Yakima Q Tower base...

Re: New owner questions, "where's the horn?" (Canyonman)

Thanks for the info. I suspected it was easiest. Already pulled the fender mostly off to get the XM antenna installed. When I have a few minutes I'll have to pull the bumper and get the horn...

I know everyone wants to lower the Fit, well, my problem is that it's already lowered.
I usually have 500 lbs of camera gear in it so it's...

Hi Everyone,
Well, I've had my Fit for about a month now.
Have about 6500 miles on the clock already.
A few blasts from LA to SF, and then Wednesday it was Vegas and back for the big Broadcast...
