May wanna try running a different ecu, just to rule that out. Did you get the fuel filter for that year civic? I'm not 100%, but you might want to try one for the 92 si, i think different models run...

wifes 02 civic had the transmission go. we bought a used one from an 05 civic. i know the 01 and 02's had issues. not sure about the 03. good luck though.

Had an 02, auto trans went. I put in an 05 auto. Worked great, it actually improved fuel economy believe it or not.

I currently have a 2000 si..and my opinion..its really not that great, as far as power goes. I love the car. But if I had the money and felt like ruining the car I would swap another motor in it....

I completely agree with Deetz. B20z is an amazing engine for what it is. Had one with an si tranny in my hatch. Loved it.

Do what Ron said, also replace the pressure plate and pilot bearing while there, and replace shifter bushings. If the shifter is moving that much I would also check motor mounts.

I do not recommend this at all..but I've seen it done and may have done it myself....but you can put a breaker bar with socket on the crank bolt and have it to where it will hit the ground and crank...

On my LX I had not changed it before doing the brake swap, and my brakes kept sticking. Once I changed the prop valve everything worked. I also read about the different pressures and people running...

I did the swap on my 97, and i had to change the prop valve to the si one. works fine now.

I actually purchased the si with them on. Only thing I have done was lowered the car down more. I am parking the car now for winter, switching up wheels for next summer. I will most likely raise it...

I have function and form type 1 on my 2000 civic si. Personally, I love them. Handle is good, ride is very nice.
