Re: Progress Coil-over Special Promotion

What are the free lengths of the springs in the 89-00 kits? I have some springs from my last car that I may be able to use and fine tune with and am curious if they would be compatible.

Re: Yesterday Was A Bad Day For The Em1

Im willing to bet your front bumper actually just fell off after the impact. I was recently in a front-ender in my 98 EX (much more severe than yours it looks like) and it broke off clean after the...

Re: Lots of shifter movement - broken motor mount?

Understood, but I would expect the shifter bushings to have more of an effect when Im going between the gears which is not an issue. This is more of the shifter assembly as a whole moving frowards...

Re: Lots of shifter movement - broken motor mount?

Just out of curiosity, did you notice a lot of shifter movement when your motor mount was broken? As far as I know my 98 had stock shifter bushings and the shifter never moved around all that much.

Lots of shifter movement - broken motor mount?

I had a 98EX that was recently totalled, only drivetrain mods were a short shifter and I never really noticed a lot of shifter movement under acceleration or in-gear decel. The shifter was on the...

Someone else posted about that site recently and said good things, try doing a search. I plan to get my new carpet from there when I get around to it.

Re: Need more supportive seats

I had Sparco EVO2s in my STi that were very comfortable but not very practical for daily use. I guess it depends on what youre willing to put up with but just remember a fixed back bucket race seat...

Re: better gas mileage out of an eg

I would also have to disagree, you want the air to be able to meet as cleanly as possible in the rear. Everything in nature and engineering that is designed for optimal aero/fluiddyamics or is at...

Re: better gas mileage out of an eg

Depends on where you drive. In low speed stop and go situation, aero is not as important but it has a much more dramatic effect at speed. Theres talk of measurable improvement in highway mileage...

Re: better gas mileage out of an eg

I suppose it dpepnds on a lot of factors, where the tranny comes from, whether or not it needs a rebuild etc. As my daily driver/beater, I expect to have this thing for years and years. Its got...

Re: better gas mileage out of an eg

Ive struggled to get over 40MPG tank average in my stock 98 EX but high 30s is pretty normal for me. I do a lot of pulse and glide, and decel fuel cut off coming up to stoplights. Not willing to go...
