talked to the body shop today said its probably going to be totaled but i got some nicer em1s im looking at tomorrow insurance is sending me a fat check

Im willing to bet your front bumper actually just fell off after the impact. I was recently in a front-ender in my 98 EX (much more severe than yours it looks like) and it broke off clean after the accident and was still attached to the front bumper cover:

My ek looks a lot like this.. except the driver side radiator support pushed in more. It's scary how similar our accidents are =/ The parts damaged even down to the rightside windshield beign cracked.

thats exactly what happened it was lodged in the escalades front end
