Creaking when turning the wheel at low speed?

Over the last month I've noticed that when I turn the wheel in either direction I can hear a loud creaking sound coming from the front of my car. I took a quick look under my car and I noticed that...

Odometer is stuck at 99,999

I have a 93' Civic SI and the other day when my odometer was about to roll over 100,000 it just stopped. The trip meter stopped as well. There's well over 150,000 miles on the body of the car, but...

Terrible radio reception

I have a 93' Si and lately I've noticed that the radio reception is pretty lousy. With the antenna fully extended my reception goes in and out, most of the time not fully out, just staticy. Just...

Re: Loud thumping while reversing

lol, 90% sure there's no bodies under there. The car both shakes and thumps loudly. I'll see if I can get a video or something tomorrow. It's pretty bad.

What should I check? The problem is...

Re: Paint Opinions?

I'm diggin' the black and red feel. I plan on something similar to that on my hatch, just have other priorities right now. Love the Strange Music rep btw.

Loud thumping while reversing

Just recently my Civic has started "thumping" very loudly and violently whenever I give it any gas while reversing. The sound reminds me of the way my exhaust sounded when it was installed wrong (was...

Re: Replacing rear wheel bearings?

Started work on the rear bearings today. The passenger side bearing is definitely bad, sounds very rough when I spin it. The driver's side bearing doesn't sound too bad. A small amount of noise, but...

Re: Replacing rear wheel bearings?

Tried that and it wouldn't budge. Maybe I should hit it harder?

Re: Replacing rear wheel bearings?

Just ordered a couple new bearing/hub assemblies. Supposed to be in tomorrow afternoon, hopefully.

Do I need any other parts besides the assembly? I have an impact driver, breaker bar and all the...

Re: Replacing rear wheel bearings?

Great, just what I wanted to hear. :)

I took a spin around earlier and recorded it to give you guys and idea of the noise my car is making. It's not the best quality, but hopefully it's good...

Re: Replacing rear wheel bearings?

I have rear disks. I didn't notice any particular problem with my breaks, but like I said, the rear passenger side didn't wanna move by hand. The driver side definitely had grinding tho.

Replacing rear wheel bearings?

So I've had an annoying amount of noise coming from my car for a while now. I used to just blame it on my exhaust and road noise, but I've come to realize that it's most likely bad wheel bearings....

Re: Exhaust too low(pics), need lower profile header

Looking at getting a new DC Sports header... gonna be about $300... I wanna avoid cheap ebay parts, they're usually cheap for a reason, but I'm open to suggestions.

Whats the pro/cons of a 4-1 one...

Re: Exhaust too low(pics), need lower profile header

Re: To catback or not to catback

WS2 gets my vote too. Great tone, nice and low. I would pick up the Noir version tho. IMO the WS2 muffler is too flashy and the tip is too big. Sticks out loud on my black hatch.

Re: Exhaust too low(pics), need lower profile header

I'd like to keep it to save $, but I don't want it hanging down so low.

Edit: It's not supposed to site that low, right? WTF?
P.S. oil leak? heh

Re: Exhaust too low(pics), need lower profile header

Engine mounts look great.

I wouldn't be too surprised if my header isn't meant for my car or something. The p/o was a dumbass. So back to smaller header... suggestions?

I just recently had this problem. I tried a bolt extractor and it didn't do any good for me.

I ended up cutting through the bushing and bolt on the opposite side of the LCA in your picture. That...

Re: Exhaust too low(pics), need lower profile header

Roughly 150-160k on the body, about 90k on the engine. I got the car when the engine had about 75k on it and it sat just the same. I'll check out the motor mounts and see what kind of condition they...
