I have a 99 honda accord thats in my signature but have some stock a/c questions. My a/c compressor clutch will only engage(rotate) on when I hook up a 12v source to it. So its not getting a signal...

plastic mallet (i ment to say that) was used and it didnt shroom up so threads and tip are safe and still good, i was worried about that at first to, however nothing else worked.

I was able to remove it finally by tapping with a hammer then when i got close to the wheel i used a punch to finish removing the shaft. Its on its way to GPop Shop now :) Thanks all for the help.

Thanks for the help so far but Im alittle confused, you mean the hot side wheel is not coming off, but the cold side wheel does come off correct?

I already had taken the little 10mm 12 pt nut off that way, are you saying the turbine wheel is threaded and needs to be be taken off like the 12 pt nut??

I got the compressor wheel nut off however the cold side compressor wheel isnt bugging or sliding off at all. here is a pic. Really trying to get this sucker sent off to get balanced, please help...

UPDATE:
Hammered, Hammered, hammered, twist, pull, tug here and there then bam its off!!! thanks for all the help guys!

excuse my ignorance but what does persuadedoff mean?

I tried sticking an offset wrench into the hotside then hammering on the oher end of the offset(trying to force it to turn) no luck either.

In the florida area and about to do a rebuild, i have the guides to do so. Just need some HIGHLY RECOMMENDED places to send the shaft to get balanced?? Im in Pensacola, Fl and havent found anywhere...
