Re: signs of a bad coil or ignitor? (VTEC IS UR BEST FRIEND)

I had a bad ignition and coil at the same time and the car would shut off on me. When it wouldn't shut off and I accelerated it would back fire like a mo-fo. Needless to say I have long since...

Re: Remote Car Starter not working (devi22)

I'm not sure if the bulldog is the same as my autopage but according to my manual a few things it could be include:
1. The Neutral safety wire is not grounded. Must be grounded to start.
2. Hood...

Re: is the quaife differential suitable for track use? (silverskateEF9)

The nice thing about the Quaife unit is that the warranty covers racing as well. Is your car a weekend car or a daily driver?

Re: Transmission: difficult to shift into 3rd (Burg)

I'm aware of that, but I believe the manual doesn't talk about not being able to put it into gear. Last time I checked theres a big difference between that and a little grind...

Re: Transmission: difficult to shift into 3rd (NXSpoon)

I'm having the same problem both when I go into third and when I want to put it in reverse. Mine isn't so bad though, still I'd like to know why it's so difficult. If I find something out I'll post.

Re: Rotrex powered EDM ITR!?! (Big Phat R)

Centrifugal superchargers vary in gearing. Some, as I would assume the rotrex is, have gearing set so that it will produce boost quickly. The disadvantage of that is that it's limited to how much...

Re: (2fast4fords89)

For that much boost i think you'll need at least 550 injectors. That is a lot of fuel you'll need. Also if your thinking about e-manage you might want to consider the e-manage ultimate. It's the same...

Re: * NEW * APEXi AFC NEO - Color Screen - SAFC & VAFC in 1 - Great Price (turbo-kits-com)

I heard it only has one map for fuel, whereas the older versions had more than one, is this true?

Re: OEM ITR or OBX LSD? (7rrivera7)

Be aware, even though the obx may not be up to par with the itr lsd it is a direct bolt on wheras in the ITR, depending on your application will not be a direct bolt on. That's what happened to me, I...

Re: 2000 Civic SI emanage system ???? (JDMEJ2)

With an AEM EMS I'd have to change all the sensors though wouldn't I. I've also heard that the car won't run as smooth as it was before. Can someone make it clear because I am clueless about it.

Re: 2000 Civic SI emanage system ???? (JDMEJ2)

Actually yeah I'm trying to stay OBD 2. I really don't want to convert even though it's probably better, thanks for the advice. I drive a black civic as well, I'm down in Miami though.

Re: 2000 Civic SI emanage system ???? (JDMEJ2)

I was actually considering it myself since I don't want to go OBD I either. They also came out with an e-manage ultimate which is supposed to have more points in which you can tune. From what I heard...

Re: yah its a N20 question (hitatree.at125mph)

I've never used nitrous in my car, but to my understanding you're not supposed to use a dry system when your running boost. Dry systems are for a stock car with perhaps bolt ons. Direct port is...

Re: noob turbo questions (200cs)

Yeah if your looking for more than 7 psi your shouldn't be running an fmu. The reason is FMUs are notorious for raising fuel pressure too much. It's not to say you can't use it, but for what you want...
