The ftw meth would not pass a water test as its not pure methanol like m1. Methanol is very easy to regulate and make sure people are not cheating the system with additives

The easiest way to fix all this fuel crap is go with VP gasoline based fuels and M1 only. This is what all the NMCA and most of the outlaw radial races are doing to prevent this same situation I do...

Sounds like a converter clutch issue but it should show up in the higher gears also and clean bright red fluid does not indicate clutch failure in the converter or transmission HUMMMMMMMM

i would invest in a quality streetable twindisk like a exedy or spec with sprung center hubs will last a long time and drive very nice also easier on the transmission

that block is defiantly sleeved you can see the marks where the supports rubbed when pressed in and the small dabs of epoxy between the sleeves and there all steel around the top not steel and alum...

has any one considered doing a micropolish of the gears and shafts in the trans. Ive done this to all my transmissions and love it. I have also noticed 30-50 deg drops in temp on customer roadrace...

Judging by the condition of the piston you did not have a P2W problem piston still looks food looks like the rings were filed improperly and caused the damage.
