i stripped it down yesterday and wrapped it together and got nothing so i took the antenna part itself apart and i'm thinking if i take out the old piece and solder in the other wire it may work...

well it was like 40C outside one day and i was gonna move the antenna so i loosened everything up, pulled it all out of the trim and started pulling and it just pulled right apart...the wire broke...

XM Antenna fixable??

i broke my xm antenna (i pulled on it a bit to hard when it was really hot out) and now i'm screwed. i'm wondering if these things are fixable or am i going to have to replace the whole thing??

One problem solved...i'm new at this stuff

the amp is mounted to the back of my sub box and the ground screw attaching the ground to the amp shook loose and i was grounding out

now just gotta...

Ok now i think i really have a problem....tonight i'm coming home from work, i go to turn up the system and it made a sharp pop sound (not super loud) then it continued to act as it did last night...

This happened to me when i put my winter tires on last year...i put about 10,000km on my winters the first year then put them on the second year and got a bad pull to the left, checked the alignment...

well I'm told that high output altenators are only affective at higher rpm's is this not true?? I'm told that putting in an optima yellowtop and a cap in the trunk i should be fine.

says right on side of the box in the description of the pad that they are "entry level track pads", I don't have the box right here but it does say that...then on the back it says no warrantee ...

Finally got an update from EBC (had to call, no response to email), they said no problem they would just ship out the new pads with a return waybill and ship the old ones back for "quality control",...

I'm not gonna bash EBC but these pads are quoted as being "entry level track pads" that's all that i'm annoyed about and i've managed to get a couple of pics of the pads they are below

yeah that's why I posted it, I don't recommend EBC at all...I've got an email into AJUSA where I bought them as well as EBC themselves
