inverted machines will weld AC cleaner... i have the Diversion and it works pritty dam good ... its no Dynasty but for ~1200 for the machine you cant go wrong.... but 1/4 steel idk; 3/8...

heres a noob backpurging question. how much argon do you flow into the piping wouldnt that be like wasting alot of argon gas?

i have that HF mig welder for 4 years now and it works great for just mild steel will not weld aluminum.... i also have the miller diversion and it works great for aluminun ss and mild steel......

diversion 165a is your best bet! i have it and it works great for aluminum ss mild steel, easy to use or you can go for the TA185 little bit more money but works great as well

picked up a miller elite helmet (Wicked) this helmet is pritty sick so light and durable

i need to pick up some more metal to practice some more ive just been makeing some roses and what not out...

Then as you bring the torch forward agian, you run the filler over and prepare for another dab. So both hands are sort of doing the same movement along the direction of the weld.

whats with the gap on the fit up? thin tubing like that should be fit up tight with no gaps.

--lol that was jsut cut, the part that is welded has no gap

still looks like you are going too...

so i lowerd the amps and tried moving a little quicker and not stay in the puddle to long but i had to set the amps at like 50- 60 bc the puddle would not start or melt the filler metal for that...

well i have 2 bandsaws for wood in the garage but i cant find a 93 1/2 in metal blade for the big one and the small one (59 " ) i think it doesnt have such a broad height adjustment

stainless tubing would probably be the last thing I would practice on if I was learning tig.

im practicing TO weld SS i can tig MS pritty well and aluminum i got the hang of

i just ordered some 309 filler wire 1/16 all i can find anyways, i also jsut ordered gas lense for my tig torch

about the post flow the Miller diversion has an auto post flow preset at around...
