WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT & A/C BELT REPLACEMENT

I have a 1988 HONDA ACCORD ( 2.0L CARB with A/T)
I need to replace the water pump and the A/C BELT.

Can the water pump be replaced on this model of car without the need to remove the timing belt?...

PCV Valve Grommet removal : Torque Strut replacement

I have a vaccum leak caused by a cracked PCV valve grommet. In fact I there is only 3/4 piece of the grommet on the manifold. And its almost as hard as stone.

Any ideas on how to soften it up to...

Thanks guys,

the car is a 1988 Honda Accord LX ( 2.0L Carb) and I do not think that the bolt is threaded in. At least it does not seem to be per the manual. I will inspect it a little further...

Hey guys,

Can someone look at the autozone link below and tell me if it is accurate?
It seems to indicate absolutely no need to touch anything related to the TIMING belt to change the water pump?...

Ok will check this out. How does this valve affect operation?

I also notice that the card does not have a FITV valve, but has something like
two throttle controlllers whose spindles ( plungers)...

The problem just started off like this.
MY muffler pipe fell off at the doiugh-nut after the catalytci converter.

I had the muffler replaced and that was about it for repairs since I started...
