the 2 peice header for a b16a hangs so low that on a lower car it will dent very easily, worse then a jdm 4-1 or just as...

Your need a vibration dampener for those reasons.

The reason d series motors have lasted so long without vibration dampening is probably because they have no torque....

Re: (brick top)

It's a fact that when you have no vibration dampening on your crank and you have an engine with a lot of torque things go bad, I don't see what your going to prove.

There is a reason it was on the...

Re: (Kevinarich)

copy a ctr, which is a b16 crank and from what I know rods are the same,

if you want the highest r/s ratio use a b16 crank, low compression pistons and custom rods in a b18/b20 block

or out of...

Re: (rochesterricer)

listen to me your just confused. I understand what you are saying

Yes r/s ratio is important for longevity of a motor.
But when you want power you must sacrifice.

Re: 5 lug vs 4 lug (hayabusa160)

Half the stuff being said here makes no sense what so ever, If you can't afford a 5 lug setup, or just don't have one don't bash the 5 lugs. It's not about jdm shit.

From what I know the...

Re: (standinghollow)

You can rev wherever you want, all your doing is seating the clutch to the flywheel

I don't see a probplem with high revs and a new clutch, it seats in quicker, just shift slow and let it grab...

Re: DIY: Lower the amount of rear speaker/pillar rattling in you Del Sol (midniteweezer)

Here are some more tips

You should put foam tape on all panels where they touch or connect, it prevents squeeking when you go over bumps, it's almost completely squeek free in my car, makes so...

Re: (92TypeR)

Get your facts straight.

1) You better believe catch cans prevent oil from getting into the engine. (see pic below)

2) More restrictions? Restrictions on what? Certainly not the intake system....

Re: Post your PCV all motor setups (parks)

Honestly all these pcv modifications don't do much.

They use all three torque loading mounts to do what they do. Which is a plus.

They are also not that stiff and depending on what you want it could be a...

Re: Installing a b16a/ITR LSD into a b16a transmission (Mr.RHTuner)

you do not need a whole final drive assbly just a ring gear to match the b16a 4.4 mainshaft.

I'm sure you can find one used.

Re: Installing a b16a/ITR LSD into a b16a transmission (Mr.RHTuner)

You need a 4.4 ring gear from a gsr/type r
You need updated ball bearings for a gsr/type r

and it's a perfect fit.

Re: delsol body flex. opinions on fabing some braces (JCracer723)

You would be better off doing it underneath.

Go find pictures of a Mazda miata, underneath the car, and look at the undercar braces if you want an idea of what to attempt.
