As far as turbo's on an auto, I can't answer for EVERY car but auto supra's put out more power than the manuals...

Could be a bent window regulator. Mine use to do that and one day it just wouldn't go up at all. Bought the new regulator and it works great.

If you had codes previously and then think you fixed the problem, make sure you reset the battery so that the codes will reset. Then its just as stated above.^^^

Did you inspect the block and head for cracks? Depending on how bad he screwed the car by running it hot you could have severe internal damage. Could be a blown head (most likely if he ran it hot)...

On Board Diagnostics.....it has to do with emissions mostly. You have a OBD2 which also means 2 oxygen sensors.
