Re: Somewhat complex electrical issue

Sounds like you need an ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual). Factory Honda/Acura manuals are available direct from the publisher (Helm) at www.helminc.com.

The ETM has the circuit diagrams for...

Re: pulstar spark plugs?

Do NOT ever use Pulstar plugs. They are crap!!!
Yes, they could be the problem. Did you pull them out and inspect them? I had some a while back and I may have even posted my opinion on here. Do a...

Re: 04-05 Auto TSX ECU

The pinout is the same. Just try it and see what happens. The worst that could happen is it could accelerate on it's own like the Toyotas. :D

Seriously, the only thing different is the...

Re: Somewhat complex electrical issue

Clean all the ground terminals on the engine harness and the dash harness with a wire brush (remove the bolt first). Has the car ever been in an accident? Repair techs sometimes forget to tighten the...

Re: Name that LSD!

All is good. The guy said he would refund me. So, I'm shipping it back tomorrow. Problems like
this arise when sellers re-use pics and don't post pics of the actual item. Quite annoying.

I've got $485 into it with shipping. Make an offer. By the way, it includes the bearing races and speedo pinion gear.

Re: URGENT HELP ! less than 24hrs untill purcahse - TL OR TSX

I considered the TL also. I drove one (6-speed) and didn't care for it. Seemed like a harsh
ride for a big car like that. Also had lots of road noise. I found a 2004 TSX 6-speed. I liked
it...

Re: ohh my goodness. beware of pulstar pulse plugs

Yes, I gapped them... but that doesn't make any difference for reliability.
One of the plugs failed completely. In my opinion, that's not acceptable,
especially when the plugs are $25 each.

I'll second that...

But for the key to be programmed, you need a code... which comes from Honda.

From what I gather, the dealer has to call Honda and probably give them some
information such...

Re: (Glocker)

No LSD in any RSX from the factory and no type R here in the US. The LSD makes a
HUGE difference. Highly recommended.

Re: sidemarker wiring for dc5 (GGhatchie)

You need to put a diode in series with the wire coming from the power... about a
3 amp (or more) rectifier diode from Radio Shack should do it.
