The GSR intake has a short runner and tall runner. The tall runner is for torque which will kill your hp.

check the timing

I gained 40whp switching to the short side of the intake on a gsr intake. (it was stuck on the torque side)
I wasn't running that low of boost.
also I would check the timing belt.

It is the oil pump seal. Take the pulley off then the belt and gear. replace seal or entire oil pump(which wouldn't be a bad idea.)

They are severely underrated engines. They generally make the advertised horsepower but instead at the crank, they make it at the wheels.
