if i am not mistaken, measuring at peak lift or very close to peak lift will give you the most accurate centerline number; because closing sides are generally longer by design.

you can buy the head with or without valvetrain. i dont know what the price for a bare ported head is.

i believe you can make a cam that will kick-ass in alot of different engine combinations. the skunk pro1 cam has 10-15 degrees less duration @1mm than the skunk stage2's, yet they make about the same...

you can't the rocker ratio is variable because the contact point of the cam sweeps across the pad.

actually....converting the DTS numbers to dynojet wheel numbers (which are considered high) ...the engine should be right around 235whp on pump gas...
