My 97 civic with D16/Y7 has lasted 250k and still going. Original everything except for the wear and tear stuff. I just keep up with the maintenance. Hoping it will make it another 100k.

You should be more worried about your engine block then your coolant hose. The water might have expanded in your block causing unrepairable damages.

I have worked on alot of cars before just not a civic yet. The engine is aready fuel injected not carb. I know someone that will do the swap for 500 but not including parts.
