any aftermarket things installed? alarm,sound system, leds? its blowing your fuse is cause the amperage readings exceed the fuse rating. so it's read 20 milli-amps once its settled?

The alarm is most likely set to check Voltage and needs a better signal. Purple/White needs to be wired to tach under the hood and learned to give it a "true" signal

Heres what I found out, When I disconnect the cluster and reconnect it it will read within spec. But after a few minutes of driving it will spike slow back up to F mark. I checked the cluster and...

Yea doing everything that it says. 0 when with ign off and 12 with ign on, and 14volts with car running. Im going to trace the wire down and see wheres its meeting at the cluster. Cause like i said...

Like title says its stuck at the F but sometimes it'll go back to normal then spike back. I tested the wires at the sending unit and it says that it should test 5-8volts but is testing a full 12v and...

try getting your remote turn on from a IGN instead of your acc.. Sounds like there is a delay in voltage keeping your amp turned on with little to no signal hense the pop

yes disconnect all your triggers door,hood,trunk, ground black/white. program to auto, try leaving it on virtual tach first. if it doesnt try to start... disconnect your brown wire to the foot brake....

to test for immobilizer start the car, while car running press remote start, then take out key. If it stays running then could be immobilizer , if it doesn't stay on then check your heavy guage wires...

and as far as ground make sure you scrapped off the paint to ensure good contact

if still nothing get a DMM and meter the purple wire.. it should read 0 volts until it tries to start at which point will read 12v.

neutral safety shutdown. ground black/white to a known good ground... just for testing purposes..act as if the car was auto, again to narrow it down.

Brown-Siren
Black-Ground
Blue-Trunk Trigger(if you want)
Green-Door Trigger
White-Parking Lights

I would go with the avic-x930bt, Its the most solid built unit. Never had a problem with these past avic's, but they are the easiest to fix since it runs off of a windows background.
