hey can you guys help me out. i just installed some amps and speakers and when i turn the car off i get a pop from the speakers. doesn't matter how the volume is, the pop is the same.

Check your grounds.

i tapped the frame under the seats for grounds.

this is in my caliber. i used the stock head unit with stinger line converters. the converters had a ground wire on them which i ground on the frame inside the console. should i take that ground off?

i used an accessory wire from the ipod harness for the h/u. should i tap into the cig lighter?

try getting your remote turn on from a IGN instead of your acc.. Sounds like there is a delay in voltage keeping your amp turned on with little to no signal hense the pop
