Re: Am I screwed?

So, is the bottom end an LS variant? (B18A/B or B20) If the block is a B18C then it should have provisions to send oil to the head internally and not require that feed line. Typically that is only...

Re: Ecu fuse keeps blowing!! Can someone please help me

Considering the fact that you mentioned that the car shut off when it popped I am going to assume you are referring to the 15 amp fuse that is top left of the under hood fuse box. If that is the...

Re: tuning ecu

hondata will suit you just fine. AEM has a really great interface when you are actually going to take advantage of what it has to offer, but the setup is much more intensive. Honestly unless you...

Re: Am I overthinking spring rates.

The formulas used are from Eibach. Here is the url to that info. https://eibach.com/us/p-101-suspension-worksheet.html

Also I agree with you that the rear would be too stiff, which is why I...

Re: Am I overthinking spring rates.

The math I did was as follows:

measured MR as .66 front and .74 rear

Then I used this formula to get wheel rate WR = MR^2 * SpringRate so FRONT WR = 341.5 = (.66)^2 * 784 <-- 14k spring, and...

Am I overthinking spring rates.

Ill do my best to keep this short.

I am building a new car (97 GSR) and am wanting to get away from drag racing a bit and start doing some HPDE's. As such I have been planning my suspension set...

If you feel like sharing privately I would love to see a log of that pass or any others similar to it. Last car I was heavily involved with we had issues with final drives when approaching the high...

IIRC you use some type of reverse leverage that lessens the load actually placed on the scale that is in a measurable percentage of the actual weight of the wheel. Ill see if I can find a picture of...

Re: Can I barrow your Race car

Money might not be the issue he could be waiting on parts to come in or machine work.

That said I would likely say no but there are certain circumstances I might agree.

Re: Almost finished with our first billet block

My vote is B. Would it be possible to get a block made with different deck heights from stock? Im assuming the answer is yes as its being machined from nothing but it never hurts to ask questions. ...

Re: Ballistic batteries

I have used them in a few race bike builds (4 cell) I have not used one for a car. They work well in the bikes though and are super light and easy to maintain.
