Am I screwed?

Am I screwed?
I finally got the motor in (B18C) and hooked up all the lines. When I started for the first time it immediately started leaking oil from the head. It seemed to be this oil line that goes from the back of the head to the back of the block. I unscrewed the bolt and come to find a crack. Is this bad?
As of right now I added new seal tape and gasket maker seal. Gonna let it dry for 24 hours. My only worry is that it’ll won’t work. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix it?

Re: Am I screwed?
So, is the bottom end an LS variant? (B18A/B or B20) If the block is a B18C then it should have provisions to send oil to the head internally and not require that feed line. Typically that is only used in LS/Vtec setups. My point is, if its a true B18C then you should be able to remove that line after ensuring that they head has not been plugged from normal oil flow and then just have that threaded hole welded shut. Either way the head has to come off to fix it properly.

You would have to take the head off the block and look at the oil port that is on the bottom of it. If you read through these instructions regarding a LSVTEC conversion and kind of back track them you will see what I am referring to. How To build a Reliable LS VTEC - My Pro Street In particular pay attention to the part that says "Modify Your VTEC Cylinder Head"
