Re: safe redline for a b20 vtec (BustedEG)

Shift where your power falls off on dyno. I am using all stock internal's and have taken my B20 to 8k for a couple years now with no issues. I would recommend an accurate tune though. As far as...

Re: clanking noise in rear after lowering (PatrickGSR94)

The comment about bumpstop only mentioned in response to him claiming he did not trim anything. (not noise) #2 You are correct , that only applies to front. Thank you for correcting me. LOL...

Re: 4-1 vs 4-2-1 how big of a differance? (bunks99si)

I can't comment on how this swap would affect other blocks however I had a DC 4-2-1 and swapped out for the DC 4-1 and WOW what a difference. I gained 7 hp at peak but more impressive was my ELEVEN...

Re: clanking noise in rear after lowering (v0gueSilver_Dc2)

Here are a couple of possibilities that you may have problems with.
1- Trim 1/3rd of bumpstop to allow for travel
2-Make sure spring is aligned properly at perch and cap (this will cause noise)...

Re: increasing torque (wasdayuca)

Find old b18 shortblock. Use your pistons and the ls crank. This will give you more power and torque. Higher compression will require a re-tune but a great bang for the buck for streetable...

Re: Dyno'd my mild GSR build. (REVHARD_EF)

I would suggest more ignition timing then a retune. Or if you are already slightly advanced then you need to lean out all of those 12's in your A/F ratio. Below vtec close to 14 is good for milage...

Re: Help me make more power. dyno sheet gsr with goodies (justinh595)

I would like to see the A/F ratio displayed with your dyno chart. It sure looks to me that you are not getting 6-8k peak you should have on that block. I would make sure your ignition timing and...

Re: B20Vtec dyno sheet (DutchVintec)

You will find that when your 60ft times drop your time will improve but your mph will often drop as your are actually making it to the stripe quicker with less initial spin. Also do you realize we...

Re: B20Vtec dyno sheet (Bob-DC2)

I actually am running RC 310's with my V-AFC and do plan on a 4-1 header. I have port matched the gsr intake manifold to help it some. I am very fond of having the dual runners scince it is my...

Re: Opinions needed. Q's about my RS. (dfunkd)

Honda's auto tranny's are not known for handling power over the long run. Also you will lag more. I have to say for the money my choice would be all motor with manual. Tuned in on all stock...
