Re: CRX launch????

I have spoken to Weedburner at length about solutions like his but they do the same thing which is delay full engagement of the clutch. There are one distinct difference between flow control and...

Re: Wheel and drag radial setup for the street?

I am going to backup Motox here, I suggested to a fellow Focus ST owner to get some drag radials or slicks. He ended up getting some M/T Street R and they worked well. Stock turbo, all the bolt-ons,...

Re: Drag Week

Not sure what class they were in, I think Street Race Small Block. Because they never ran in the Street Machine Eliminator time trials. That's an odd class for a FWD Honda, my guess it might be too...

Re: It's been a while. But this is my 11.50 Index street car.

So I guess that means you are going to drop the turbo engine out of your car and put in a fresh all motor build?

I'll start getting ready for IFO @ Famoso (Feb 25th) I hope this week.

Re: It's been a while. But this is my 11.50 Index street car.

I don't quite understand. Either you are competitive at the faster classes or you need to turn it down from 11 to about 9 and run 11.5

Possible it's more reliable running slower?

Re: It's been a while. But this is my 11.50 Index street car.

Are you running CMI? I thought they had a 11.5 class.

Re: It's been a while. But this is my 11.50 Index street car.

Nice work Moto. Somehow my post got deleted???

Anyway I will be running this class. Right now I'm unsure if I can reach the class index from where I am currently before the first event here (Feb...

Re: It's been a while. But this is my 11.50 Index street car.

Only it's not bracket racing. Though if your local track has bracket nights/days the track is prepped so it's good opportunity to test.

Index racing is not bracket racing, it's head's up, .400...

Re: It's been a while. But this is my 11.50 Index street car.

Nice to see some people come back to the forum. I was wondering where everybody went. I'll be running 11.5 as well (IFO, CMI, IDRC) but not with a Honda.

Re: Best Racing suspension

Like I said I believe Strange's suggestion via AZ is the correct route. You don't want a heavy spring in the back. You just want enough to hold the car up; shocks/struts need to be tailored to...

Re: Best Racing suspension

I think this is the right way to setup a drag car. Springs are only there to hold up the chassis.

Having a really heavy rear spring is harking back to the early days of compact drag racing.

Re: 91 octane compression limit

Why not?

Seems 12-13:1 static in K motors whoops arse, but they are all over 2.0L. I'm especially amazed at 200+lbs of torque figures coming out of TSX swaps. 300+hp and 200+lbs of torque makes...

Re: JoTech Performance Fastest allmotor 8thgen civic...11.9@114! NSCRA Finals

Thanks for clearing that up, I thought somebody on first page mentioned BOTI's Street Stock which is swap-free.

And yes its a fast 4-door I wasn't knocking it, its easily 300+hp at the wheels at...

I think you mean its not cheap...

Still trying to wrap my head around a K24/K20 car being legal in a class that doesn't allow engine swaps?
