Re: Blade's H2B Build

Are any of the passages in the rails gummed up and not flowing enough oil to those rockers? I think thats something that can get overlooked considering how old most of these heads are and how tiny...

Re: Degree in Web Pro Vtec killer Cams

How are you checking seat pressure? Are you actually measuring the installed height yourself or are you just looking at the manufacturers spec? Because you are mixing and matching parts your...

Re: Rod bearing clearances... I am clearly missing something

How are you measuring the rod with bearings installed? In other words what is your procedure?

The way I would do it is to measure your rod journal on the crank with your mic, then lock that down....

Re: euro r swap help

You need to match whatever ecu with the correct injectors. If you are going to run a stock usdm eco then you also need to run those injectors. Otherwise due to the size difference between those...

Re: S90 throttle Body 70mm

A customer sent me a 74mm S90 the other day to mate to a manifold I am building for him. I was actually pretty impressed with it, the machining looks pretty good and I am usually picky about that...

Re: euro r swap help

If you want it all setup like stock and DO NOT plan to tune then you technically could use the Euro-R ecu since you have the harness as well but its still alot of work as you have to replace the...

Re: fuel cell venting

You deffinately don't want to vent it inside. Vent it to the atmosphere, and make sure its grounded as well.

Overall this is a very dangerous idea! You definately won't be able to take it to a...

Re: euro r swap help

If you are wanting something tuneable then you will have to switch to an obd1 ecu unless you are able to use a piggyback system.

The easiest way would then be to use your existing harness, swap...

Re: ammfab reworked h22 intake manifold

I think he means cut them out all the way to the bottom. I am not really convinced yet that it is neccesary to do that, but I could be wrong. I do know that if you want to go that far you will need...

Re: Need Info/Help on purchasing correct H22a1 Rings/bearings

There will be numbers stamped on the block and on the crank that you can use to look up the bearing colors. Chances are you may need something different if your motor has alot of miles on it and...

Re: h22a block bore size?

Yes thats true. At 90mm you would be looking at a custom piston but thats not usually much more money, just a matter of waiting 3-4 weeks verses getting something off the shelf.

Re: h22a block bore size?

87-89mm is reliable, 90mm is on the edge and would be for race only type setups with a short life expectancy.

What kind of setup is he putting together? If you start out small you can always go...

Re: is this normal cylinder wall wear with Supertech pistons?

That sounds about right, especially if your gage only reads to .0005". In reality that measurement is probably only accurate to within a .001" on your gage. Hopefully the machine shop would have a...

Re: H22 Wossner pistons, FRM compatible?

Yes.

Where can others find info on these Wossner pistons? I am guessing that not many of us have heard of them.
