1992 Honda Civic VX
This car was being built specifically for the 25 hours of Thunderhill in 2008. Because of the downturn of the economy, I was unable to complete the goal of the 25 hour race.

Re: APR Perfromance DTM Rear Wing??? (woody55)

Eric- I am going to slap that wing on my hatch. Its seems pretty durable. My only complaint is the struts are a little bit close together. I am going to move them farther apart using some...

Re: (rudebwoy)

Before you install the inserts grease them up and that should prevent the squeek that you might get.

Your interior vibration will be increased if you do decide to install the rear mount. Be...

Re: Rear threads on coilover are destroyed. What now? (pearl)

Looks like purchasing a new set is in your future. When replacing shocks you should replace in pairs, not just one. Years of rebounding does change the dampening of a shock, so dont replace one...

Re: Will a rear swaybar be benificial on my setup? (goldegg)

Please be more specific on what you are trying to accomplish. If you would like the car to rotate a little bit easier then yes a rear swaybar would help. The rear swaybar will also help stability...

Re: SS Brake lines swap (crazyguy)

Its a dirty job, first of all. Also remember that if you don't remove the brake fluid that spills on paint you can kiss that paint good-bye. If you decide to use SS lines they are not always sized...

Re: Building CIVIC EG 1992 for track use (BRN12345)

Dont use the front swaybar it is a waste of money on an EG, it makes these cars push.

Since you are just tracking your car keep your current brake setup and get good pads and some ATE Super Blue...

Re: What is the best front camber kit? (B18C_Powered_EK)

Megan Racing has come out with a new design. I have snapped the Skunk2 and the Omnipower UCA's.

The Megan Racing ones are by far the best bang for the buck.

Re: (Stinkycheezmonky)

I was only able to get about 10 or 11 heat cycles out of the 710s that I tested. They were still pretty far from the cords before they started going away, they still have about 3/32nds still on them...

Re: (cibola)

If they are equal on both sides the likely hood of both being bent exactly the same amount is hard to believe. I doubt that they are bent, it is most likely a install error.

Re: How do I find out if I have LSD Transmission? (slkleltlclh)

Most of the reply's on this post are incorrect.

If your car is balanced and you are on flat pavement both tires will burnout the exact same amount.

Re: road racing suspension question (racin ronny)

If you are road racing your car is too low it sounds like. Low is not always the best espically if you are bottoming out.

Re: 400 springs on front, should i change to 350? (coot_er)

Sell the front sway bar and watch your times go down. spring rates really depend on what course or track you are running.

Auto-x is always flat so I would say go higher in spring rate to remove...

Re: is this wheel repairable? buddy club wheel (meister19)

Even if you do fix that one you will have a weak point where the repair was made. It seems every wheel that I have had repaired or straightened seemed to relapse to the prerepaired problem.
