Pull your FITV (fast idle thermo valve), its right next to the IACV. Take the cover off the side, and make sure the big plastic screw is screwed in properly. Make sure you dont have any vacuum leaks...

Make sure to replace that little wire that goes from coil to icm. They get old and brittle.

I'm almost done w/ a complete rebuild, but I don't have the OEM honda mainshaft holder tool to be able to tighten up the mainshaft nut. Any suggestions? I thought about cutting up a torque converter...

Either Honda ATF, or Valvoline Maxlife ATF. Seriously don't use anything else. I've had good luck with the maxlife, lots of people on the bobistheoilguy forums swear by it in Hondas/Toyotas....

^^You really need to tear it alll the way down. They are such tight tolerances, that they valves will bind up with even just a little bit of contamination.
