Icon3 Acura Integra Transmission Compatibility

Ok so i have a b18a1 with a shot automatic transmission on it and i needed to know if the manual transmission from an 87 Acura Integra RS (i think it has a brown top) will fit onto my b18a1. and if not what transmission can i use?

nope, forsure any 90-93 will work, but for the 94-01 i wanna say u can and just change the reverse sensor and Vehicle speed sensor as well, but maybe some one else can answer that one.

B18A1 will take a B series trans from the years 90-01. It depends what car you are using it in. If you got a 90-93 Integra, then you need a cable trans, which were made from 90 to 1993. You can use a 94-01 transmission, but those are hydro transmissions, so you will have to purchase a conversion that will enable you to use a cable setup on a hydro transmission. Hasport.com sells the conversion kit.

Does this mean in order to swap my 97 integra sedan I could use my buddy's 93 manual integra's transmission and parts? hes offering me the car for 150 since the engine is blown and the chassis is completely shot and i was wondering if I could happen to use the car for parts since I do want to manual swap my sedan.
