I got a couple decent guys in the area...nobody who is really top notch I would say.

No CEL's pop up on me...I've even gone to the extent of switching up a different ECU and seeing if it spits any...

Here's some of the video that I shot...this is me gettin onto the highway in 2nd gear here and comin down onto the stretch and tryin to max the gear out...you can hear the bucking and engine choking...

figured that was the first problem, but when I hooked up a new temp gauge and started to run the car I figured I would've seen a fluctuation in temperature as the engine speed increased...didn't see...

thought that might have been the issue at first...but I was checkin the temp gauge and it wasn't even budging...just sat at normal temp...

drove it tonight and at 3500rpm it just starts choking...

Ok, a while back I posted up with some issues of my car just cutting out on me on the highway...after going straight to the ignition coil and replacing the module as well and having the fuel pump...

hey man,

the d15b is an alright motor, gets decent gains when you modify it but it's a hell of alot harder to source parts with as alot of the measurements are different than say the d15b7 persay...

If it's a JDM D15B VTEC like the engine I got, you're gonna have a hard time trying to source a 'proper' cam for the head...I'm not sure if anyone has successfully made one or if anyone has come...

you and me both thought of that as well...I had to have the car tested for emissions back in the spring last year so I had a brand new cat put on the car...a high-flow as well and fitted a new 2.5"...

Hey man,

I wondered about the bad gas, but I tend to keep the engine happy and above the 92 octane mark by fillin it with 94 octane daily...I tend to stay away from any cheap gas stations too...

hey folks, just a couple quick little issues that are pestering me and my project...

runnin a jdm d15b motor, had about 50,000km's on it when I snagged it, has roughly 100,000km's total on it...

kinda depends on the year of the car and what boost you're running...

a few friends run iridium plugs from NGK on low-boost applications and find them to be rather decent spark wise....

You can get the tach cluster on the EX, Si and the VX.

Si/EX will register redline at 7200rpm while the VX registers redline at 6800rpm.

the springs will fit and yeah as the other guys said, it will drop the car some...you may get a bit of varying ride quality as well...prolly won't wanna stick with...
