It shouldn't be swapped out cause it was a "stock" jdm engine from an importer, unless they swapped it out in Japan which I think is highly unlikely. I'll look it up and see what it is. When u say...

How true is it that only zc's came as 1.6's? I recently did a mini me swap with a "zc" (stamp says zc from some single cam) bottom end and a d15b vtec head. So when I looked at the block the pistons...

So tested the iat wire and it is getting 5v at the plug. Checked the iat and it was out of spec. Replaced and works now.

So I figured out the problem. Turns out I do have fuel. I have a code 10. I swapped the iac plug and the iat sensor plug and it starts right up. Only problem is I still have an intermittent code 10...

zc/d15b vtec swap in 89hf no starting

So i have all the swap in the car. I have spark and pulled the plugs and they smell like fuel. Timing looks to be set right. Tdc and cam gear at 7 oclock mark. Obd1 injectors with the resister box...
