been around doing this for awhile, but now have come across an issue that im not sure how to handle.

b16 head
stock valve size
pro 3 cams
pro gears.

pro3 cams, will not achieve ample v2v...

just because the springs are shorter doesnt mean they are wrong, i would imagine the factory springs would be longer since the rates are lower. its all dependent on cam selection as well

im not at all worried about the rpm, but .080 should not constitute a longer belt by any means. something isnt right with the parts youre using. that is all.

ive built plenty of b series engines...

You're asking for trouble running a longer belt. Is the tension bolt tight while you're doing this? Try loosening it to give more angle to the dangle.

Swap the door hardware over. Bolts right in. Then run the wires to the needed spot. I believe there is a relay you need to install also. I had an ls dash harness installed so I already half way there...
