Hey guys and gals just wondering if you could give me some hints to look for in a car that has no spark!!! It has new plugs,wires, cap and rotor. We even changed the coil and the ICM. still nothing....

Burnt smell? Is it kind of like a sulfer type of smell? Something simular to a firecracker? The cap and the wires have that smell, and sometimes I get a fuel smell with this act up too. But no fuel...

yes the pressure plate torque is 19ft-lbs and the flywheel is 76ft-lbs. if you don't torque down the pressure plate then you don't get the fingers to press down or inward evenly, like they are...

You can, but you need to find out what pressure your pressure plate is and then get the appropriate disc for that plate. take your pp down to the clutch shop and have them test it and see if it is...

When you changed the belt did you replace the tensioner pulley? If not then that could very well be your problem. I have found that after doing numerous belt changes, the tensioner pulley goes hand...

This may sound funny but I find that when I bleed the brake system I get better results doing this with the car running. And when you replace pads depending on the ones you got they just feel mushy...

I agree 100% with Kamin...your HG can look fine but definatly be bad. How many miles are on your car? Was your HG ever replaced before? Good piece of advice that I was always told is always start...

i wouldn't recomend reusing a headgasket, once it has been tightened down and has gotten hot from use you stand the greater chance of blowing it. 50 bucks or so reassures you that it wont blow cause...

just to let you guys know i did use a B series knock sensor in my D16Y8 and it worked just fine. it is the same size and shape...just black not blue. but it works.

In that order. if you need to, set your cam at TDC take off the cap to your distributor and look at where it is pointing to, and that would be your number one....

hey peoples, my car is throwing these codes and i was wondering how do you know for sure if these cylinders are really misfiring? is there a certain way you can test them? i don't get these codes...
