My source is the A2mac1 autoreverse system where every single part of a car is disassembled, photographed and weighed.

79lbs doesnt cover everything you can remove when removing IMA.

100V system in the insight, CR-Z and will be Jazz = IMA is 56kg all in, inveter, motor, battery, cables.

The weight for pretty much everything on the IMA system on the Insight Mk2 is 56kg. The CRZ is gonna be the same, if not a little lower due to shorter 3 phase cables.

My car had been imported from Japan and hence had been running in KPH mode , only briefly was it running MPH as i took the VSS convertor off due to it effecting the ECU...
