Re: question on turboing h22a

That's hardly worth the trouble of going with F/I. Seriously.

Re: question on turboing h22a

Don't bother doing a turbo setup if all you want is 5-6psi. Seriously, it's a huge waste of money/time for the little gain it'd give you.

If you really want to boost your car, save your money,...

Re: Low Offset with 18" wheels on a 4th gen?

Rolling the fenders in the back shouldn't be a problem. I can't believe those are 18's in teh picture, they look tiny. Mind you, that's most likely due to the wheel design.

Love the deep dish...

Re: Low Offset with 18" wheels on a 4th gen?

Fair enough.

I'm looking for 18x7.5. I'm curious if a 35mm or 38mm offset will fit. I'm lowered 1.5" in the front and 1.75" in the rear. No rubbing or anything in the wheel wells with 215/35/18...

Low Offset with 18" wheels on a 4th gen?

I'm looking to see what's the lowest offset possible on a 4th gen while keeping 18" wheels. My current wheels have an offset of 45 IIRC, but I'm looking for a different look.

Pics and specs...

Re: Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD in a 5thgen

Both Metra and Schoshe (spl?) make the 2DIN install kits. Google their name, look on their sites, get the model number and cross reference on ebay.

I got my 2DIN kit for $10, works like a charm...

Oh right, cause you included the model you were looking for (3rd, 4th, 5th gen? still not clear btw), I'm sorry we're not l33t enough to know that sweet-awesome acronym for fiberglass is FBR. ...

Re: Anyone Turbo a 4th Gen H22 AND KEPT A/C?

That's common in cast-iron log manifolds. Well made custom stainless ones aren't easy to crack. As for backpressure, I've yet to see an issue with my setup and a 3" turbo-back exhaust.

They're pretty good as far as flow is concerned.. It's just a little more complicated to make a downpipe for it, along with running lines, etc...

Re: Anyone Turbo a 4th Gen H22 AND KEPT A/C?

A slim fan for both the A/C condenser and radiator (civic half rad) is required for sure. Getting a traction bar would also be very helpful so the downpipe and oil return line from the turbo have...

Re: Anyone Turbo a 4th Gen H22 AND KEPT A/C?

I've got a reliable turbo setup and have retained A/C without the use of a traction bar, etc..

Usually a custom log-style manifold is the weapon of choice.

Pros/cons?

Pro - You keep A/C,...

Hmm, the compressor wouldn't turn on at all when I tried it (without a fan connected). I'll look to see where the connector could be. Hopefully I can locate it and it's as easy as cutting the...

Will A/C work without a fan?

I removed the OEM fans and replaced my rad with a dual-core half-sized one from a Civic to be able to fit my turbo components. The fan for the rad works just fine, but I can't find the connector for...

Re: intermittent problem with radio (2001 Sedan)

All fuses are fine, ground is good.

I'm at a complete loss over here... And I don't have a different headunit to test with to see if the OEM headunit's amp blew.

Re: intermittent problem with radio (2001 Sedan)

Hmm, it seems I have a different problem now. The radio turns on just fine, the volume indicator rises (as normal on the 01 OEM hedunit), but there's nothing coming out of the speakers what-so-ever....
