Well, it looks pretty!
What header is that?
What are you going to tune with?
*Waits for people to speculate the HP/TQ #'s*
*Hopes you didn't actually SPEND $$$ on the P&P*

Well it's just that your every day run of the mill 4-2-1 header wont make any more power than the stock mani on the H22a unless you have a custom 2 1/2 collector, even then just a few ponies.

I assume when you mean 'a build like this' you are meaning that he's not expecting to turbo it or do anything much more than just a simple rebuild/refurbish of the motor?
My prelude has 157k miles on it... doesn't run "right" to me... bought it this way... I plan on pulling the motor out refurbing/replacing building whatever I need to to make it "turbo ready" and build a turbo setup someday.
Every step that I CAN do myself, I WILL do myself as this is all a learning process for me... So when you say I hope he didn't port and polish, I honestly dont know why you're advising that?
Isn't it a good idea to clean everything up?
Again go easy on me, i dont know ****... i'm reading to learn here lol

^lol, beat me to it.
I assume he's referring to the idea that the stock head flows well enough for a street build like this, and money spent on a p&p (which is generally expensive for a good job) would probably have been better spent elsewhere. I agree that porting will likely have not gained much (and perhaps lost some on the low end), although a 3-angle vj would be a worthwhile investment imho.

Well doesnt port and polish bleed the compression a little, so he would of had to mill the head to get ahead some, but i guess the type S pistons give that bump,... my vote 195whp.

Re: h22a all finished let me know what u think
type s prelude lol technically its a type s motor wich is 220 hp so that about 180ish to to the wheels with the full exhaust and a good tune i expect to be around 190ish
i would never put a non prelude part in my prelude that would be silly
and thanks for the comments any other thoughts
?

Euro R IM from Rosko, a better header and the 3 angle valve job that has already been suggested, right now it doesn't look like it would gain much power over stock...
