I think he meant that certain subs are meant to be powered by an external amp (besides a deck) and if they aren't receiving a certain wattage, say a speakers that's meant to handle 200 watts RMS only...

it's not to big of a deal having to run the two sets of wire, just didn't know if it's not as good for the speakers to have it like 6 feet away. I have kick panel pods, so they don't need to be run...
