It's a beast, it's the latest technology in electric motors. It does 13.2 sec 1/4 mile, 0-60 mph in 4.1sec, and its a 200hp engine....

ya machine shop work is expensive
but not that expensive.
but it shouldnt be $300 i think, maybe 100-200 for labor.

sure its safe to run with 12.0+ CR on 91 octane just as long as u dont hear any knocking or pings. if not just retard the timing to 15degree BTDC and you'll run coo but loose a lil power on the...

ok to clear it up for you. stock gsr's have dual vtec stages because of the intake manifold is garbage. The stock p72 obd2 ecu controls the Dual stages to "Save Gas".

Doesnt matter if he used wheel locks or not, my car got stolen and i used two wheel lock keys on each rim (2 locks and 2 regulars on each rim!)

make sure when you extract the bolt, do it really slow with WD-40!!!!
it might strip, then u will have a even bigger problem on your hands then just a little broken bolt.

its common to have the bolts seize up in there or any where parts are moving constantly.
just use some WD-40 and let it soak for 30mins. should relieve the problem and use a breaker bar.

i did it in "between" .06 and .07 for intake and .07 and .08 for exhuast.
just use both feeler gauges and slide them back and forth for optimal "slight drag".
