1/4 mile times for ITR's, RSX-S's, and GSR's.
I just want to see what times people are running with these cars cus my friends have these cars so I'd like to compare times. The '00 ITR ran a 14.8 with CAI, racing clutch, and unbolted exhaust... the RSX-S ran a 15.7 with an aftermarket air filter in place of the stock air box... and the '97 GSR ran a 15.001 with CAI and unbolted exhaust.

That RSX run was sad. I hit 16.1 on a stock 95 accord. That's a lousy .4 seconds difference. Were talking 55 horsepower more on a car that weighs like 300-400 pounds less.

theres a good driver and then there is bs , im sorry i dont buy it .
on 13.77's all motor on slicks i was pulling 99.50 traps
on 13.60's i was pulling 101's and thats on slicks , and thats with a little more under the hood.
granted my ca aint doing what it should be cause traction issues, but if it was that easy youd see more people doing it .

On a side note I've hit a 14.3 WITHOUT running open header with a passenger in car.

Re: 1/4 mile times for ITR's, RSX-S's, and GSR's. (stupidfast69)
94 4dr gsr -full interior -stock tires -intake -dc 4-2-1 -tanabe RM Catback
155,000 miles
run tonight 1st time run of the car(just my second time on the track)
-3 runs \\-launch at 3500, |\\then at 4000\\ |, then at 5500 (spun a lot)
times: \\ -17.07@86.2 |\\17.3@85.17 \\| 16.6@86.91
i find that pretty crappy -i'm dissapointed in it
-i run my freinds stock 90 crx si with 200K miles and with no thermostat(drove hard during it's life -16.5 in the 1/4 -and that was the first time i've went down the track
so if a worn out crx can beat the gsr -thats pretty shitty
my gsr has top end like crazy -leaves everyone after about 70 -the crx lost sight of me on the highway -it stood no chance -but i need to improve that low end -changed the oil before going to the track to make sure everything was good.
a freind at the track had a 90 hatch with a b16 -run a 15.8 @89.7 -he said i need to advance my timing -and I HAVE NO IDEA about advancing timing.

Don't feel bad about your times darrinbrewer. I my self have a 2000 4DR GSR and my best time on shity street tires was 16.00@87 and my 60FT was 2.41. This is my set up 4-1 JDM headers, Carsound hi-flow cat, Apex-i N-1 cat back, Aem CAI, Clutch Masters clutch stage 3 and 10lbs Jun flywheel. What makes it even worst is that my boy run my car the same day and ran 14.99 so i know i have to work on my lauch. This kid lauch my car at 6500RPM this kid can drive his *** off. I guess since it wasn't his car he didn't care; i kinda baby my car when i race it on the 1/4. My car has a hell of a top end like yours darrinbrewer
