updated a few pics in the other thread, and forgot more mods the car has, such as CTR cank pulley, 5k HID's, 12lb SLA battery and what not.

yeah i just never got around to putting the final touches in the motor to push it some more, it would have required alot of downtime.

as to the rx-8 its an R3 so it comes with forged BBS wheels...

2636 is the listed stock weight, mine weighs 2400lbs even, i know this because i weighed it. look at all the mods like light weight flywheel, aftermarket exhaust/header, aluminum suspension parts,...

using a torch is a nasty way to do it, i used a hole saw just smaller than the ID of the outter metal bushing and cut through it. you can get cheap hole saw sets at harbor freight.

wich is exactly why i went with the apex, as it will be mostly a street car, track will be secondary. this is what they recommended when i called PIC also... suspension should be here thur/fri,...

i have 400 / 350 now, i dont think 450/340 is a huge step up. i dont find it too stiff at all and id actually like to try the 10k/8k setup

i drive mostly street now, but id like to track my car...

i reused the stock metal boots, i belive i had to cut them to fit.

my car is lowered so i have roughly a 1" gap between the tires and fenderwell incase anyone was wondering. if my car was slammed...

i got the neuspeed konis with GC's and it was the shit, rode awsome handled awsome, i go tthe neuspeed version cause they were valved to match the neuspeed race springs and my rates were pretty close...
