Default MA FS 1998 integra built b20

location, western massachusetts

up for sale is my 1998 cayane red integra. ive owned this car since 2001, bought it with 13k miles and it now has 80k. when i bought the car it had some minor front fender damage that was repaired/painted by the dealership and has since never been painted or been in any accidents of any kind.

i bought a new car, and i was going to keep the car as an additional ride but i cant see having the time to drive or upkeep this car.

i recently (last fall) put in new brakes, a new clutch (6 puck) all new ES bushings all around, new rear LCAs and new suspension (PIC), and new hankook ventus rs-2 tires on it. ive since barely driven the car so all of these parts are quite new but they have been driven through the winter so they might look worse then they are.

the bad, the car passes all aspects of MA state inspection EXCEPT it throws codes, the codes are because i need to use the stock OBD2a ECU for inspection purposes, but the car has a built b20 non vtec motor, it does not like to run well on the stock ECU, i was going to install the stock cams and have it retested but it got too cold and i bougt a new car.

other minor problems exsist but they are minor and to be expected of a 12y/o car. the only thing thats a asap fix IMHO would be the shifter bushing (it has a ES bushing installed but its worn) and the muffler situation. it currently has a stock muffler on (for inspection purposes) and the 2.5" magnaflow i had on there was rusted too badly to put back on. unfortunatly the stock muffler is a huge restriction powerwise and is seriously killing top end power.

thats pretty much it, tires, brakes, and suspension are all basically new, engine was rebuilt in 2006 so about 25k miles ago, so theres lots of life left on the car.

ON TO THE MODS

car 1998 integra 80k miles cayane red, factory OEM body kit.

engine
b20z engine, i belive its a 1999
RS 84.5mm typeR pistons ACL race bearings, all new oem seals/gaskets at rebuild time (2006)
JDM P8R head with 33mm intake valves, crower 404-2 cams, rocket single valve springs, BC cam gears, skunk2 IM, 65mm TB, intake i made, BPI V-stack with matching k&N filter, full 2.5" exhaust, 2.5" high flow cat, 4-2-1 header with 2.5" collector tuned by me, made ~185/150 at bristol dyno. obd2a-1 conversion harness with a LS ecu with a chip tuned by myself.

tranny is USDM type R with JDM 4.785 FD, 6 puck sprung clutch ACT race 8lb FW.

suspension
PIC apex coilovers 10k/8k, z-10 traction bars, neuspeed front upper rear upper, rear lower strut bars, skunk2 rear 21mm sway, function 7 rear lcas, full ES bushing kit (black).

wheels, 15" konig heliums with hankook ventus rs-2's have a winter set of steelies with michelin x-ice tires w/good tread left

interior all stock, drivers seat stitching torn, but fixable, only mod is the strereo, alpine CD Player wich only really works with an IPOD currently, infinity/polk speakers.

PS / AC / antenna have all been removed, car weighs 2400lbs even and would make a great track car in its current setup.

im looking for 5k for the car and have tons of other parts to go with it wich can all be negotiated upon. if you think the price is to hi, or to low, LMK everything is negotiable. EMAIL is great, ( jcushingdc2 at comcast.net ) i will check back for PMs when i can.
on to the pics.

yea but aren't these cars are like 2650lbs stock? you got rid of 250lbs by removing ac + ps?

2636 is the listed stock weight, mine weighs 2400lbs even, i know this because i weighed it. look at all the mods like light weight flywheel, aftermarket exhaust/header, aluminum suspension parts, lightweight rims (10.8lbs/ea) it also has a 12lb battery (30 stock) etc, it all adds up.

thanks for looking though

yeah i just never got around to putting the final touches in the motor to push it some more, it would have required alot of downtime.

as to the rx-8 its an R3 so it comes with forged BBS wheels that have the shape of rotors in between the spokes.
