My DA that I bought from the junk yard I worked at was hit a lot weaker than that.

I think you could fix it, but I am not sure if you could throw it on the frame rack or have to put a new core...

It does send the tach signal, but it also tells the coil to fire. As far as I know, the two parts are separate and either one could go bad.

Yeah check what code it is throwing. It is definitely a major one that is setting the ECU to go into "limp home" mode, hence the rev limiting and the poor performance.

Just to clarify, an engine is actually an air pump. The "backbone" of it is pressure. Heat is a byproduct of creating that pressure. Yes a certain amount of heat makes the combustion process more...

Does this only happen during VTEC, or when the secondaries are opened?

Those are the only solenoids I can think of as far as engine management, but they should easily be drowned out by engine...

While I love DAs and agree there are some pros to a DA specific forum, I believe the cons more than outweigh it.

That is a tough one, as you have already singled out the number one cause of no spark. (dizzy)
Have you checked the plugs? How do you know there is no spark, a timing light, or physically checking...

Yeah, 5-7 should really do it. Make sure to have all your plugs out when doing it, though.

It is fine to close the throttle when not cranking. Just remember to go back to WOT before testing the...

When I worked at a salvage yard we used either Dayton Freight or R+L carriers. The max weight limit through UPS is 150lbs, which I believe most, if not all Honda manual transmissions fit this...
