Why are you looking at cheap street tires, you already have the best one, S-03, which is NOT that great of a track tire and you should instead be buying a set of Azenis, Victoracers, RA-1s, etc. for...

Foam plugs are fine, even wadded tissue helps, I use that at clubs. Anything to dampen the mid/high frequencies to the eardrum by 20+ dB is good.

Mine has a solenoid that automatically closes the valve after cutting the ignition to retain pressure. Turn key on, wait 10-20 seconds, start engine.
