I had the problem with the ABS light coming on and staying on before. The dealer said it was brake fluid sensor and replaced it under warranty. Problem was solved.

Somethings's definitely wrong. My '97 only has that white resonator box removed and I dynoed 149.4whp and 115.2torque with no other engine mods. So I don't believe that OBDII is worse like people...

97 GSRs did have those wheels. But I thought 2-dr GSRs only came in red, black, or supersonic blue. I've only seen green 4-dr GSRs.

Hope you wer kidding, cause tire weight does matter maybe even more so. Try swinging a bat holding either end. The weight of the bat is the same but where the weight is makes a difference.

2. Remove resonator box to make el-cheapo CAI (another free mod)

You should be able to even go past 18deg if you wanted to. Are you sure you were doing it the right way? You know... with the service connector shorted first.

See if the ITR swaybar was installed with some sort of backing plates (ie BSQ method, etc) or there may be tearouts later.

I still think all this talk about clutch and tranny wear due to engine braking is still exaggerated. I know lots of people who do this all the time and their trannies are fine and clutch don't wear...

I practice double clutching downshifting and heel-toeing all the time also. Practice makes perfect. Although I don't usually double clutch while doing heel-toe.

It's always a good idea to use a hose (preferably clear). I like to see if there are bubbles coming out of the lines when I flush them. And it can help with preventing air from being sucked back in...
