Icon2 2010 civic - Accesory power for internal floor illumination

hello,

I'm having trouble trying to find out how to connect some small 12v lights to an accesory power sorce in the car. i was debating on taking out the nav./ stereo and connecting a wire to the back of it, but i dont know how to remove the stock stereo. any help? is there an easier way?

All i want to do is be able to have the lights light up once the car's accesory is switched on with the key.

thanks

If it's not a large draw you can tap into the radio or the cigarette lighter power

Under dash, fuse box, accessory active power line, run to a new fuse, hook lights to fuse.

Why screw with the nav system at all?
