Default Help with 12v from fuse

I fried my 12v (ignition) in the radio harness, so the radio doesn't power on, but the security light still blinks. The 12v ignition fried to its source, which also knocked out power to the Lighter Plug,(but the glowing ring around the lighter plug still glows).
BTW: I checked all fuses already.

So I need to draw a 12v current.
In the picture below (fuse) each one of these measured a 12v power except for the (Flashing Lights). Well I need to draw current from one of these to the radio and lighter.

My questions, is How can I connect a wire to there? and also, If after I do connect a wire to one of those 12v, should I connect both the radio and charger 12 in ONE 12v source, or use TWO separate 12v sources?

If those are the free pins, you can use a female spade terminal to tap power there.

You can power the radio & cig lighter off one pin.

That diagram is incorrect. If you go to the security How-to and scroll all the way down, you'll find the correct diagram. And also it tells you how to tap into them.

MM&Y of car?
Anyway two of the wires would be for the light, "glowing ring" probably red/black is 12V+ the the ground will be black or red, [black if the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller" has no effect on it, and red if the "DLBC" does have an effect on it's brightness] the other two leads will be for the lighter black will be ground, and the one left over is the 12V+, [white/blue, white/yellow, or yellow/red]. 94

BTW how did you "burn" the HUs acc., [switched] yellow/red lead?

I think I remember seeing two blacks, red, white ...
How it happened...My radio was stolen, the wires cut, i did a bad job reconnecting so the Ignition 12v and it touch a ground and sparks were heard, smoked all under my dash (i really thought my car was gonna burn down)... the whole length of the plastic insulating that 12v BURNED off starting from the radio harness to the fuse box where it plugs in. So that wire was fully naked... and i just chopped that wire at the plug, btw that wire had no Voltage anymore.

But yea the four wires are its two blacks, red , white.
So it'll be the white one...i guess

I wonder why the fuse did not blow, before wire burnt????

Don't forget to install in-line fuses on the HU acc. and lighter leads you are running from the fuse box. 94

You also might want to locate and pull this fuse to insure power is never sent down that wire. Dont want to be driving down the street and catch on fire.

You might also try removing the fuse box locate the bad wire and replace it. This is probably the best option. If you sell the car you dont want to be responsible for someone burning up in the car.

And check what size the fuse is, it should have blown. 94
