Error Code 10 IAT sensor problem EG Civic
Hi all,
Our P30 ecu is pulling a code 10 IAT sensor, the obd2 engine we've transplanted does not have an intake air temp sensor. Does anyone know how we can wire the ecu not to look for this? (i.e maybe earthing the pin out?) Thanks

Re: Error Code 10 IAT sensor problem EG Civic (simonc)
what OBD-2 motor did you put in there that does not have an IAT? I believe the IAT on that generation had it plugged into the rubber intake hosing before the throttle body. I would try and copy that setup into your OBD-1 car. The IAT will help compensate for the different weather temps. According to the Hondata readouts, with the IAT throwing a code, it assumes the temperature is 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
That's hot!!

Our engine has an induction kit which plugs straight into the throttle body. Should this sensor have been incorporated into this?? I'll have a look and see if there's anything hanging loose!! I know one wire of the IAT goes to the ecu, does the other go to ground or the battery??
