Default B16 block with ls head up and running in crx

I put the engine together this weekend. B16a2 lower end all stock with a ls head and manifolds, the car has an 99si trans in it. So far the motor runs great it is slightly on the rich side but i'm going to start tuning it this weekend to work that out. so far the car has plenty of go and more than enough power. it would out run a stock crx si any day of the week and then some. There is no shortage of power anywhere from 2000rpm all the way to the stock ls limiter (i will raise that a bit when i tune it properly).

this would make a great need to get it going motor like i needed. the ls head does suite the b16 lower end much better than i thought it would!

I've seen a couple of these thrown together out of spare parts haha. The only one we ever put on the dyno was about 129whp. The cars ECU ran crome, but I'm guessing that tune was nothing but a quickly tweaked b18b map (only bothered to run it twice). Really that wasn't bad considering the motor is comparable to a dohc zc d16.

I didn't think anyone was going to respond to this, cool. I will post pics tonight when i get home from work.

129hp is pretty good, i was hoping for anything around 115. I'm in the middle of tuning mine as we speak. hope to get it dynoed one day
