test pipe information help
Would installing a test pipe hurt gas mileage and is there anyway to stop the check engine light from coming on, i was looking at the invidia 70mm testpipe also, what does it do to the sound?

Re: test pipe information help (MADBADGER)
search.
dont install a 70mm if you do not have a 70mm exhaust you will cause a bottle neck in the exhaust flow. i did not notice a significant decrease in mileage when i installed mine. most testpipes sold today come with an o2 anti fouler which moves the o2 sensor out of the flow of the exhaust gases so you wont get a CEL, so make sure you get that. as for sound, if you have stock exhaust it will make it raspier, for about any exhaust it will make it louder
next time search this topic has been covered enough

what I did was i gutted out my stock cat and made my own o2 fix. You just get two sparkplug nonfoulers i forget the size though' anyways you drill one out so the o2 sensor can screw into it. The you screw togather the two non foulers next u screw it into your testpipe and last you screw in your o2 sensor. This is what I did and it works like a charm.
This is the pic of the nonfoulers notice how one is drilled out.
