K so here's the deal my oil light flickers whenever im at a stop light while in neutral or just pop it in neutral and no gas applied....dont know why maybe the low oil light sensor needs replacing or the plug is loose? some people are saying it could be the oil pump. idk need help, oil is full so i know its not low on oil. thanx Jay

Does your car want to stall out?? if so.....
This happened to be in my b16 engine yrs back turned out I had spun a rod bearing w/ no engine knock!!!

This also happened in my dad's 98 Prelude SH. Oil light would flicker w/ no engine knock BUT would try to stall out or had rough idle. I suspect the oil pump as well. But Never diagnosed the issue as my brother is too lazy to pull the oil pan and the car is still sitting!

nope doesnt stall out its all gravy at high RPMS or just driving, it only does it once in a while though, it did the whole way bak to base, and then its been fine since then.....does it sitting at sombodies house for a while and then just sitting in a garage have nething to do with it??? my buddy put like i think castrol synthetic or mobil 1 or some shi like that in it, im changing it out to royal purple this weekend and flushing the motor maybe it has sludge build up and then ima replace the oil pressure sensor see if that does nething easy **** first. lemme know what ya'll think...its never been ran hard its only been a DD never seen the drag strip or nething.

things ima try first.....oil change with engine flush and a oil pressure sensor, and check for loose wires or maybe the connector.

Yep, change the oil and filter first. Sometimes a questionable/dirty filter will do that. Is your idle set to 900ish? To low and oil pressure will drop. If none of the above works, then you can either swap out the oil pump or run a little thicker oil (which isnt the "right" option, but it will fix it).
